Mommy Monkey....I don't know what to say. It doesn't matter how many times I read C's story, or marvel at your incredible photos, or pore over your beautiful writing about not-so-beautiful experiences...I am touched and overwhelmed with emotion every time. I don't know how you do all that you do, or how you manage to express your feelings about life with C with such a striking combination of brutal honesty and unwavering love, but you and that little boy are an inspiration to SO MANY people. I count myself so, so fortunate to have you in my life. You have always been and will always be one of my heroes.
Now: I need to talk about hiring you to get a photograph of my three monkeys, all looking at the camera at the same time. You're a damn good photographer, but I bet even you can't conquer that white whale.
